Dr. Claybon Lea, Jr. has been blessed with both the burning and the learning. He is a distinguished graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA, with a B. A. Degree in Religion. He received his Master of Divinity degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City. He also earned his Doctor of Ministry degree from the United Theological Seminary in Dayton, OH. In 2000, Dr. Lea was inducted into the Martin Luther King, Jr., Board of Preachers at Morehouse College. In August of 2004, Dr. Lea was selected to attend The University of Oxford in England as a participant in the first Oxford Round Table discussion on Religion, Education and Government. His preaching and teaching gifts have afforded him the opportunity to minister in West Africa, Germany, the Bahamas, Bermuda and throughout the United States. Dr. Lea and his wife, Janel W. Lea, are the proud parents of four beautiful children, two boys and two girls.
