Jeff “Jeff-Lo” Davis seeks to be a man of God daily! He is a husband, father, producer, musician, writer and arranger, who loves God, family, ministry, and music! “Jeff-Lo” is the Godfather of Gospel drumming – many gospel drummers site him as their biggest influence because of his heart, seasoning, skill and most off all – his ministry! His list of credits include: James Hall, Richard Smallwood, numerous GMWA recordings, Carlton Pearson, Hezekiah Walker, Beverly Crawford, Ben Tankard, Vickie Winans and too many more to name. He rarely does clinics, so having him come to ‘The 2008 Shed Summit’ is an awesome experience for all of us!

Carlos Benson was born and raised in a middle-class home in Covington, Kentucky, brought up in the church, Latonia Baptist Church, baptized at the age of 9. Carlos started playing drums when he was 13 and by age 16 he was playing professionally. He had great musical training both as a "street" player and as a schooled player. Carlos' high school years were surrounded with band activities. Playing in the #1 high school band at the time consumed most of his time. Carlos studied at Morehead State University studied with famed percussion teacher Dr. Robert Schietroma (now at the University of North Texas) who mentored Carlos and saw him through a lot of LIFE mistakes. “He married his wonderful wife Cindy, "... she's a gift from God ... there aren't enough words;" Another blessing is Carlos' 21-year-old daughter Ashley who recently gave birth to Avree, our first grandchild. Another tremendous blessing is the addition of new baby daughter, Christina Bella Benson, now 7 months old. Five years ago, Drummers for Jesus was formed while Carlos was having lunch with a percussionist named Jon Skaggs, a fellow member of Lakepointe Church praise band. Carlos' drumming duties these days include teaching drums/percussion, writing music, doing some studio work, playing drums at Lakepointe Church, and organizing the International Drummers for Jesus Celebration.

Bill Powell, AKA "Church Boy" is a musician, producer, rapper, singer-song writer, and most of all a lover of GOD & Music. He comes from a long musical background. He grew up playing drums in church, Latter Rain Christian Fellowship.COGIC. where his father Hubert Powell is the pastor. He has toured the country of Japan along side his parents for several years now. In 2005 he accompanied his mother, co-Pastor Jacqualyn Powell, to Africa where she ministered in song and the preached word. He has also been able to perform and record with many other artists. He has also recorded with Brent Jones, Shirley Murdock, Jonathan Dubose, as well as his own solo project "nutnbutachurchboy". God also allowed Jones to produce a track for Tonex. On September 9th 2006 God blessed Jones to marry his wife Joi Nicole Powell, who he loves so dearly. Jones presently endorses Paiste Cymbals, G.M.S. Drums and Los Cabos drumsticks. The thing that keeps him going is knowing that God has his back.
